Balancing the roles of wife, mother, and artist is not an easy task. I often solve this dilemma by incorporating my family into my work whenever I can. In 1992 I did a collaborative piece with my daughters, this project is a good example of how I work. Annie, my twenty year old was an art major at Palomar College, and she was writing a paper on Ana Mendieta for an art history class.
